The ministries of education and justice have signed a co-operation protocol to benefit from the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB).
Justice Minister Omar Marwan, and Education Minister Tareq Shawqi, who doubles as EKB chief, signed the protocol yesterday. Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli attended the signing ceremony.
In line with the protocol, the two ministries will work to promote co-operation in education will exchange expertise and information with a view to developing scientific research.
Following the signing ceremony, Minister Marwan said that the protocol aims at providing judges with online access to references as well as assisting researchers in the judicial and legislative fields in post-graduate studies.
For his part, Minister Shawqi said that the EKB will provide the Justice Ministry with a huge database and online access to quality research and educational resources, including e-books, periodicals and data concerned with judicial and legal affairs as well as international laws and regulations.
