Agricultural exports rose to 4.8 million tonnes in the first nine months of this year, the Ministry of Agriculture said on Friday.
In a report on exports during this period, the ministry said this amount marks an increase of 602,964 tonnes compared with exports in the same period last year.
Citrus topped the list, followed by potatoes, onions, strawberries, pomegranates, green beans, beets, guavas, peppers, mangoes, garlic, grapes, and watermelon, the ministry report said.
It said citrus exports reached 1.8 million tonnes, followed by potatoes at 620,000 tonnes and fodder beet at 551,000 tonnes, the report added.
