The Egyptian Association of Private School Owners (EAPSO) has recently approved certain internal amendments.

More than 300 private schools were represented at the meeting.

EAPSO Chairman Dr El-Mandouh el-Husseini said requests by representatives of private schools in the governorates of Damietta, Beni Sueif, Fayyoum and Red Sea to apply for association membership were approved, instead of limiting membership to private schools in Giza.

The general assembly also agreed to invite candidates for the association’s board elections.

The association’s funds, in the event of its closure, would be transferred to the Orman Charitable Association.

During the meeting, Al-Husseini called on everyone to support youth owners of private schools, and to renew blood in the leadership of the association.

He also stressed the need for young people to run for the next board of directors’ elections, expressing his hope that the association’s leadership would become youthful during the upcoming period.
