CAIRO– Egypt’s Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said there is an integrated vision from the state to deal with the current situation, noting that things are progressing according to this vision that includes integration and comprehensiveness.
Fahmy made the remarks during a phone interview with a talk show on Sada El Balad TV channel on Wednesday.
The spokesman said immediate measures by the state, including the decisions taken by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Wednesday, aim to have an immediate impact; as they shall be implemented starting from the beginning of March.
At the same time, there are presidential directives to the government to implement special measures to control markets and prices as well as to provide commodities, especially with the approach of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, he added.
All these measures are immediate, urgent and are taking place now, he noted.
The spokesman revealed that there are other measures related to attracting investment, providing a better environment for investment, and facilitating the establishment of industrial projects.
Those measures are being carried out in full swing by all state bodies in light of “understanding and consensus from everyone”, Fahmy said.
He added that the state listens to all opinions, the National Dialogue and all other means of expression.
