President Sisi witnesses swearing-in of new deputy PM, ministers, deputy ministers

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Wednesday witnessed, at the Presidential Palace in Heliopolis, the swearing-in of the new Deputy Prime Minister, ministers and deputy ministers, in the presence of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, as follows:

– Hussein Mohamed Ahmed Eissa, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs.

– Ashraf Salem Zaher Ali Mansour, Minister of Defense and Military Production.

– Khaled Atef Abdel Ghaffar Mohamed, Minister of Health and Population.

– Kamel Abdel Hadi Farag El-Wazir, Minister of Transport.

– Manal Awad Mikhail Abu Ghattas, Minister of Local Development and Environment.

– Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates.

– Randa Ali Saleh Fouad el-Manshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities.

– Raafat Abdel Aziz Fahmy Mohamed Amin Hindi, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

– Abdel Aziz Hassanein Mohamed Saad Qonsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

– Mohamed Farid Mohamed Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade.

– Diaa Youssef Rashwan Ahmed, Minister of State for Information.

– Salah Mohamed Said Mahmoud Soliman, Minister of State for Military Production.

– Hany Hanna Sidra Azer, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs.

– Mahmoud Mohamed Helmy Ahmed el-Sherif, Minister of Justice.

– Raddad Ibrahim el-Sayyed, Minister of Labor.

– Jihan Mohamed Ibrahim Zaki, Minister of Culture.

– Ahmed Mohamed Tawfiq Rostom, Minister of Planning and Economic Development.

– Gawhar Nabil Gawhar Mohamed, Minister of Youth and Sports.

– Khaled Hashem Ali Maher, Minister of Industry.

– Mohamed Abu Bakr Saleh Fattah, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates for African Affairs.

– Walid Abbas Abdel Qawi Osman, Deputy Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities for Urban Communities.

– Ahmed Omran Ahmed Omran, Deputy Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities for Utilities.

– Samar Mahmoud Abdel Wahid Ibrahim, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates for International Cooperation.

Presidential Spokesman Mohamed el-Shennawy stated that Decree No. 75 of 2026, concerning the recent cabinet reshuffle, abolished the Ministry of Public Business Sector, assigning the Prime Minister to issue the necessary decisions regarding the implications of the move.

He added that following the swearing-in ceremony, a commemorative photo was taken.

The event was followed by a meeting between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the newly appointed officials, during which the President wished the Prime Minister, his deputy, and the new ministers and deputy ministers success in performing their duties.

President Sisi stressed the importance of diligent efforts based on objective standards to ensure institutional efficiency, coupled with self-assessment, continuous performance evaluation, and sustained focus on human capital development.

He underlined the need to qualify personnel according to the highest standards, ensuring the introduction of well-trained new talent into both state institutions and the private sector, while continuing institutional reform and development and drawing on specialists as needed.

The President also stressed the vital role of the media in raising awareness, countering rumors, promoting public discernment, and encouraging creativity.

He reaffirmed his support for the government and its officials in all initiatives that serve the public interest.
