CAIRO – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Wednesday Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Amina Erdogan at Cairo International Airport.
The president accompanied Erdogan to the airport VIP lounge, said Presidential spokesman Ahmed Fahmy.
President Sisi is due to hold expanded talks Wednesday with the Turkish President to on a number of files related to regional issues and challenges, on top of which the importance of reaching a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the continued flow of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian territory, said Fahmy.
