CAIRO – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has signed Law No. 16 of 2022 accelerating salary increase for public servants governed by the Civil Service Law.
The law also grants a special increment to employees not addressed by the Civil Service Law.
Under the law, pensions shall also increase for civil and military beneficiaries.
The pay raise shall be applied as of April 1.
