Cairo- Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Wednesday the shield of “Tahya Misr .. The New Republic” from Secretary General of the Islamic World Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) Salim bin Mohamed al-Malik.
The president was handed over the token during his participation in the Global Forum for Higher Education and Scientific Research at the New Administrative Capital.
The forum’s second edition is being held in tandem with the 14th session of the General Conference of the ICESCO under the rubric “Future Vision”.
A number of prominent Islamic figures from international universities and organizations are taking part in the event.
The forum takes up many files including the needs of local and international labor markets in light of the coronavirus pandemic and the necessary skills needed for a rapidly changing labour market.
