The president ascended the podium to honor the heroes of the October War.
He shook hands with the war heroes and engaged in friendly conversations about their bravery and sacrifices to achieve the glorious October War victory.
The symposium comes as part of national events that aim to enhance the national spirit and highlight the heroism of the Egyptian Armed Forces in protecting the homeland and achieving the October victory.
The documentary presented a narrative about a series of successive operations carried out inside the Israeli port of Eilat, notably the heroic story of martyr sergeant Mohamed Fawzi Al-Barqouqi.
It also showed a narrative about the battles of attrition that caused heavy losses to the Israeli enemy, including the “Sad Saturday Ambush” operation that caused heavy losses to Israeli forces in response to their bombing of the Bahr el-Baqar primary school.
The film showed the success of the Armed Forces in building a missile wall to protect the Egyptian airspace from Israeli airstrikes and shooting down a large number of Phantom aircraft, in addition to capturing three Israeli pilots.
