Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi performed Eid al-Fitr prayers on Monday morning at Mushir Tantawi Mosque in New Cairo. The religious ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Defense Abdel Meguid Saqr, Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfiq, and Minister of Awqaf Osama El Azhari, along with a host of senior state figures.

Following the prayers, President Sisi participated in a ceremony at Al Manara International Conference Center to honor the families of the Armed Forces’ martyrs and injured personnel. The event, held in celebration of Eid al-Fitr, served as a tribute to those who sacrificed for the nation.

During the ceremony, the president personally honored several families and took commemorative photos with the children and relatives of the martyrs, underscoring his commitment to sharing in their celebrations and acknowledging their sacrifices.
Presidential Spokesman Mohamed El Shennawy stated that a documentary highlighting Eid celebrations was screened during the event. The program also featured performances by various artists, adding a festive atmosphere to the occasion.

The day’s events reflected President Sisi’s ongoing support for the families of fallen soldiers and his dedication to national unity during significant religious celebrations.
