Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi takes part Tuesday in the opening session of Africa-France Summit hosted in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
The session will include speeches by the presidents of Kenya, France and Burundi, the current chair of the African Union (AU) , as well as the United Nations (UN) secretary-general and the chairperson of the AU Commission.

President Sisi is also scheduled to deliver Egypt’s speech during a working lunch session later in the day focusing on reform of the international financial architecture, reform of the global financial system and African countries’ access to sustainable financing.

Leaders expected to address the session include representatives from France, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Zambia, in addition to the managing director of the International Monetary Fund and the president of the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
The Egyptian president will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with African leaders and officials of international organizations on the sidelines of the summit.
