CAIRO – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi Sunday said that the October War victory will always remain a milestone in Egypt’s contemporary history.
The president, in a post on his official page on social media platform Facebook, said: “The glorious October victory will remain a landmark in Egypt’s modern history and a symbol of Egypt’s greatness,”
“On this day, members of the Armed Forces and their commanders demonstrated the most wonderful epics of sacrifice to restore the pure land of Sinai, and set a great example, with the support of a greater people, in steadfastness and achieving victory, to confirm that the cohesion between the people and the armed forces is the impregnable fortress that protects the Egyptian State throughout its history. May Allah protect the Egyptian people and army.”
