“This year’s celebration coincides with the bicentennial of the establishment of Egypt’s first modern Foreign Ministry, a historic milestone reflecting a national legacy of enduring diplomatic efforts that have, over the past two centuries, strengthened Egypt’s standing in the world,” President Sisi wrote on his official Facebook page on Sunday.
The Egyptian diplomacy consistently demonstrates its commitment to serving the nation with efficiency and excellence, ensuring that Egypt remains a beacon of peace, a pillar of stability, and a respected voice on the global stage, The president added.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs commemorates Egyptian Diplomacy Day annually on March 15.
