Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has directed the government to swiftly submit to the House of Representatives the draft laws related to the Egyptian family, including those governing the Muslim family, the Christian family, and the Family Support Fund.
The president emphasised the importance of expediting their submission, particularly as these draft laws had been prepared some time ago and include comprehensive solutions to the challenges arising from the current legal framework.
He further noted that the preparation of these drafts involved consultation with scholars and specialists, ensuring that they reflect well-considered views and address existing issues through substantive and balanced approaches.
