CAIRO – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attended on Sunday the graduation ceremony of a new batch of police cadets at the Police Academy in New Cairo.
Upon arrival, the President was welcomed by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfiq, state officials, members of the Supreme Council of Police and a number of academy leaderships.
The graduation ceremony started with playing the national anthem then verses of the holy Quran was recited.The event was attended by families of the graduating cadets, who showcased their skills in a colorful militray-style show.
Police Academy chief Major General Hani Abul Makarem presented a souvenir to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during his participation in the graduation ceremony of a new batch of the Police Academy students.The souvenir is a model of the Police Academy’s gate and People’s Square, that is located in the New Administrative Capital, and in the middle is the police martyrs’ memorial which commemorates their sacrifices.
