BEIJING – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived in Beijing, China, Tuesday on a visit to the Asian country at an invitation by his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.
Sisi is scheduled to hold summit talks with Xi and a number of senior officials in China on means of boosting bilateral co-operation in all fields.
The visit coincides with the 10th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
The Egyptian president will also discuss with the Chinese officials regional and international files of mutual concern, atop of which the war on Gaza.
During his visit, Sisi will also meet with representatives of some giant Chinese companies to review investment opportunities in Egypt.
He is set to attend the inaugural session of the 10th ministerial meeting of the China–Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF) on May 30.
