Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has reviewed the progress of action to convene a joint conference with the European Union for the promotion of investments in Egypt and the state’s preparations for the upcoming Eidul-Adha celebrations.
The review came during a meeting President Sisi called with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Monday for a consideration of action on a number of files.
Among the topics discussed were the state’s preparations for the upcoming Eidul-Adha celebrations and the ongoing arrangements for the Egypt-EU Investment Conference.
The investment conference, scheduled for the end of the month, will be held under the co-auspices of the Egyptian leader and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The event aims to bolster economic cooperation between Egypt and the European Union.
