Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday received Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri and the Saudi Ambassador in
Cairo, Osama Nugali.
The meeting discussed a number of issues pertaining to bilateral ties, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.
The Saudi foreign minister conveyed to President Sisi the greetings of King Salman bin Abdel Aziz, and Crown
Prince Mohamed bin Salman.
Prince Faisal also stressed the deep rooted and historical relations between the two countries and their peoples. He emphasized the Kingdom’s keenness on further advancing joint action and intensive coordination with Egypt on a multitude of regional and international issues.
President Sisi, for his part, conveyed greetings to the Saudi King and Crown Prince, reiterating the strategic special relation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, which constitute a pillar for stability of the entire Arab region, particularly amid the critical condition the Arab countries are going through, Spokesman Radi said.
