CAIRO – Port Said Governor Adel El Ghadban said that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attaches great importance to the governorate.

Port Said has seen noticeable development in the past six years under President Sisi, he said in statements to ETC TV channel on Thursday.

Port Saidi has the biggest pivotal port in the Middle East in addition to the largest free industrial zone affiliated with the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone, he added.

The governorate also has the biggest water desalination plant with a capacity of 5.6 million cubic meters per day, he added.
