CAIRO – Partisan leaders have lauded the great role played by Egypt, under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, to stabilize the situation in the Middle East region, the middle East News Agency (MENA) reported Tuesday .
Cairo has become the “capital of diplomatic solutions” for the regional crises thanks to directives of the political leadership, the legislators told MENA on Tuesday.
Senator Omar el Mokhtar said Egypt’s unprecedented diplomatic efforts contributed to stopping the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and saving the lives of the Palestinian people. He further referred to the generous Egyptian initiative to offer 500 million dollars for the reconstruction of the Gaza strip.
Meanwhile, Senator Tareq Nossier said President Sisi attached great importance to challenges faced by African countries and works on solving them. He added that Egypt, under President Sisi, managed to strengthen its relations with African countries and went into partnership with them.
For his part, Member of the House of Representatives Tareq el Kholy said Egypt made great shifts in its diplomatic relations with regional and international partners following the June 30, 2013 revolution.
He pointed out that Egypt managed to deal with various challenges over the past few years since President Sisi assumed office in 2014 thanks to the clear policy adopted by the country.
