Egyptian Police Academy Chief, Assistant Interior Minister Major General Ahmed Ibrahim said that the academy is achieving major progress in upgrading the capabilities of its graduates to be able to undertake their national security mission.
Addressing a ceremony of graduation of a new batch on Wednesday, he added that it was an honor that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attends the graduation ceremony.
He noted that the academy has expanded its training and educational buildings and facilities to meet the security needs and harness its capabilities for upgrading the security of the homeland.
He said that 15 training workshops were held in the police center about plots to undermine the State and means of confronting these plots.
He added that as many as 320 State officials and university students have participated in these training workshops.
He added in his speech at the graduation ceremony of a new batch of the academy that the policy of the academy is aimed at confronting the current security challenges.
He made reference that among the graduates are 19 non-Egyptians from other African countries including Central Africa, Chad, Cameroon, Djibouti and Guinea Conakry along with South Sudan, Zambia, Sierra Leone
