CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted Egypt’s keenness on promoting ties with Sierra Leone in various domains and offering all needed support to Sierra Leone’s Ministry Of Public Administration and Political Affairs.
He made the remarks while witnessing the inking of a memorandum of understanding between the Central Agency for Organization and Administration and Sierra Leone’s ministry.
The premier said the memo was signed within the framework of the enhancing bilateral ties, including getting Sierra Leone to benefit from Egypt’s expertise in restructuring governmental institutions.
Under the memo, Egypt will offer technical support for Sierra Leone in preparing legislation related to public services.
The cooperation will also include holding training plans for cadres working in the state agencies in addition to exchanging expertise in the field of electronic applications.
Meanwhile, Sierra Leone’s Minister Of Public Administration and Political Affairs Amara Kallon thanked the premier for the warm welcome, underlining the depth of bilateral ties.
He lauded the Egyptian experiment, especially the establishment of the New Administrative Capital.
He noted that bilateral co-operation will be an example for cooperation of African states.
