Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli witnessed the inking of a final contract to develop the superstructure, operate and maintain a multi-purpose plant at Safaga Port.
The plant, “Safaga 2”, will be operated through a free zones system adopted by a consortium of companies: Abu Dhabi Ports Co., Golden Anchor Ships Operator Limited and Silver Anchor Facilities Management Limited.
The operating company will be given a 30-year commitment duration starting on the date of handing over the land of the project.
