Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli witnessed the inking of a co-operation protocol between the three ministries of communications, social solidarity and manpower to activate and have sustainable national service network for disabled people and the e-platform for employment.
The co-operation protocol will help the handicapped to get needed services from various state institutions.
The protocol was inked by Communications Minister Amr Talaat, Social Solidarity Minister Nivine Qabbag and Manpower Minister Hassan Shehata.
This goes in line with recommendations by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during the annual celebration of “Differently Abled”.
Talaat said the ministry developed and launched the national network for services for the disabled through the digital transformation project for sustainable development in Egypt.
He added that a database of handicapped was secured to reach the last possible number.
For her part, Qabbag said the ministry will link its network to the database of handicapped to get them benefit from all available services.
Meanwhile, Shehata said the ministry will nominate a number of its employees at work offices to train on using the network.
