Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli witnessed on Wednesday a ceremony for inking a co-operation protocol on improving a number of digital services offered to Egyptian expats in cooperation with the ministries of communications and emigration.
The inking ceremony was attended by Communication Minister Amr Talaat and emigration Minister Soha Gendy.
On the sidelines of the inking ceremony, Talaat said that the co-operation protocol comes in light of the role of his ministry to implement the strategy and vision of the Egyptian state for digital transformation and present digital services to the Egyptians inside and outside the country.
The protocol aims at establishing a database to benefit from the expertise of the youth and scientists of the Egyptian expats in the different domains of development, he said.
Meanwhile, Gendy said that inking the protocol comes within the framework of the keenness o the political leadership to improve the quality of and expand the services available to the Egyptians living abroad in addition to promoting the national, political, social and economic ties between them and the homeland.
