Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said he was keen on participating in the “Builders of Egypt Forum 2023” – which opened Sunday under the theme of “Egypt’s Propitious Momentum Towards Construction Sector Exportation Regionally”.
The event is organized by the African Federation for Construction Contractors’ Association (AFCCA) in collaboration with Exlnt Communications and the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA).
Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker attended the forum’s inauguration alongside Housing Minister Assem Gazzar, Social Solidarity Minister Nivine Kabbag, Emigration Minister Soha Gendi, AFCCA President Hassan Abdel Aziz and SCA President Eng. Zakaria Al-Abdul Qader.
Saudi Arabia participates in the gathering as a guest of honor with the aim of bolstering bilateral cooperation and creating new opportunities for Egyptian construction companies to take part in the ongoing giant development projects in the kingdom.
The forum will also review Egypt’s distinguished experience in the smart infrastructure domain and giant national projects.
Egypt will highlight during the gathering its experience in building new smart cities in line with international standards.
The forum will also tackle the private sector as a key partner in various development and construction domains in addition to reviewing Egypt’s implementation of the presidential initiative Decent Life which aims at developing villages nationwide to serve about 60 million people.
