CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli welcomed plans of Forbes Global Holdings to hold its annual conference in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) which is scheduled to bring together prominent investors and businessmen worldwide to tackle major international economic challenges.
He made the remarks during a meeting on Wednesday with President of Forbes Global Holdings Peter C. Hung and his accompanying delegation.
The premier said the meeting fell within the framework of following up a number of joint cooperation files with Forbes Global, topped by establishing Forbes Tower in NAC.
The premier reviewed the efforts exerted by the government to finalize the law on financial and business zones to encourage international financial institutions to join the Financial and Business District of the new capital.
He noted that Forbes Tower is expected to serve this end.
For his part, Hung voiced appreciation for the hospitality of the premier, lauding the great development in the New Administrative Capital over the past few years.
He said Forbes Global Holdings is looking forward to cooperating with the Egyptian government for the best interests of both sides.
