CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has stressed the importance of the role played by the Investment and Foreign Trade Ministry in attracting more foreign direct investments (FDIs) and encouraging the private sector in order to maximise State potentials in the different fields.
This is mentioned in the State Ownership Policy Document, Madbouli said during a meeting with Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan el-Khateeb Sunday.
The premier pointed to an increase in the FDI rates last year thanks to the implementation of parts of the government proposal programme.
He cited the Ras el Hikma deal, underlining the need to keep up the FDI rates.
