GIZA, Egypt – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has underscored the need to optimize the use of assets in the investment zone located in El Saff city in Giza.
The premier made remarks during his tour on Thursday to inspect a number of projects in Giza governorate, where he was accompanied by Hesham Amna, Local Development Minister, Ahmed Rashid, Giza governor, and Hossam Heiba, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI).
Maboli kicked off his tour with checking the implementation progress of a project to develop El Saff’s investment zone, which is located in GAFI zone.
The premier directed to adopt procedures rapidly to make good economic returns through carrying out integrated activities, including the establishment of a complex of crafts and a tourist resort in the city.
Heiba briefed the premier about the plan of the development project, which covers an area of 40 feddans with 333 units.
Heiba added that the investment cost of the development of this zone worth some EGP1.5 billion, while the project contributes to creating more than 4,500 job opportunities.
The project aims to optimise the use of the zone to be the first of its kind in Giza with tourism, services and trade activities, Heiba added.
