Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has underscored the need for carrying out more electricity projects to achieve the state’s development vision on increasing production and sustainability of new and renewable and energy.
The premier’s remarks came at a meeting held Tuesday to follow up the implementation progress of a number of power projects in the presence of Electricity Minister Mahmoud Esmat and a host of respective officials.
The meeting touched upon the implementation of several important projects, particularly the Egypt-Saudi Arabia electrical interconnection project, among others, Spokesman for the Cabinet Mohammed El Homssany said.
The meeting also reviewed the latest developments on the allocation of plots of land for renewable energy projects and other green hydrogen-related projects.
