Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli is to leave for Doha, Qatar, Sunday on a working visit at an invitation by his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Khaled bin Khalifa bin Abdel-Aziz II.
Accompanying Madbouli on his visit are the ministers of planning, health, finance and trade and industry, as well as the chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) and the chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI).
The visit reflects keenness of the two Arab countries to boost bilateral relations in all fields of common interest.
Madbouli is scheduled to attend an expanded session between officials from both countries to sign a number of memorandums of understanding meant to enhance cooperation between Cairo and Doha.
The Egyptian delegation is also set to meet with representatives of the Qatari Businessmen Association (QBA) and the Qatari chamber of commerce and industry to discuss investment opportunities in Egypt and ways to double the volume of trade exchange.
