Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted that the important participation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in the International Summit for a New Global Financing Pact, which was held in the French capital Paris is reflecting Egypt’s pivotal and active role in emerging economies.
The president’s participation has mainly contributed to fostering vistas of international co-operation to lay down suitable mechanisms for providing necessary financing to achieve sustainable development in developing countries with the objective of facing the economic repercussions due to crises and consecutive global challenges, added Madbouli while chairing a government meeting at the New Administrative Capital on Monday.
The premier underscored the importance of the meetings President Sisi held at the Paris Summit with a number of leaders and heads of state and senior officials in international financing institutions to probe ways of boosting relations on all fronts as well as international and regional issues of mutual concern.
Meanwhile, Madbouli talked about the outcome of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s important visit to Egypt and the importance of the meetings he had in Cairo to discuss ways of promoting joint ties between the two friendly countries.
Domestically speaking, the premier tackled during the meeting the most important directives issued at a meeting of the Governors’ Council, held on Saturday to review ongoing preparations for Eidul Adha (Greater Bairam) nationwide, which starts on Wednesday.
