CAIRO – Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli affirmed on Wednesday that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s recorded speech at the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) included strong messages that the Nile is the only artery of life for Egyptians and that the policy of status quo threatens the security and stability of the region.

During the weekly cabinet meeting, the prime minister said that president Sisi called for responding to Africa’s needs for Covid-19 vaccines, expressing Egypt’s keenness on supporting the local vaccine industry to meet the needs of citizens and exports to the continent.

The prime minister hailed the inauguration of Bahr al-Baqr water treatment plant, the largest of its kind in the world.

He thanked the Armed Forces, the Defense Minister and Armed Forces Engineering Authority that supervised the project as well as the Egyptian companies that carried it out.
