Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli asserted that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is keen on attaining national sovereignty and fair peace.
He added we are rejecting any attempts to displace the Palestinian people and liquidate their cause.
Madbouli’s remarks, which were delivered on his behalf by Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa came on Wednesday at a conference of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, which is held under the theme “Fatwa and the Challenges of the Third Millennium” with the participation of scholars and researchers from 90 countries. The event will wrap up its proceedings on Thursday.
Madbouli added we are refusing any attempts to displace the Palestinian people in order to end and liquidate their cause.
He commended the awareness of the Palestinians about rejecting any displacement attempts and appreciated the Arab and Islamic position in this regard.
The premier called for ending all escalation and tension factors.
He added that the shelling of Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza will remain a crime against humanity.
No genuine peace can be achieved in the region and the world without giving the Palestinians their complete rights, including the establishment of a Palestinian state with al-Quds as its capital, he warned.
The premier called for ensuring the fast delivery of humanitarian aid to people in Gaza.
