CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli announced the fourth review of Egypt’s economic reform programme with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will commence on Tuesday.
Madbouli’s announcement came in a joint press conference on Sunday in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) with visiting IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva and Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Hassan Abdalla.
The premier congratulated Georgieva on her selection as the IMF managing director for a second five-year term.
The prime minister said the IMF managing director met President Abdel Fattah El Sisi today, as they discussed future steps for the joint economic reform program between Egypt and the fund.
