CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has pinpointed specific standards to establish the public free zones, atop of which attraction of foreign direct investments (FDIs).
The volume of investment should also be big, the premier said during a meeting he chaired earlier Sunday with senior officials on the establishment of new public free zones.
The meeting took up efforts to allocate lands for the public free zones that would contribute to attracting industrial businesses and, accordingly, boost production and exports.
Madbouli directed the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) to quickly inspect lands offered for the purpose of establishing public free zones and act to lure giant foreign companies and big-capital investments.
