Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli headed a meeting on Saturday, before starting an inspection tour in New Alamein city, where he listened to an explanation on the situation of Ras el Hekma project and the urban gathering in western Dabba in addition to the current projects implemented in New Alamein city.
This came in the presence of Housing Minister Sherif el Sherbini and Head of New Alamein City Ahmed Ibrahim in addition to a number of officials of the Housing Ministry.
Madbouli asserted the importance of the projects implemented in the North Coast especially that they place Egypt on the map of investment and global tourism.
Meanwhile, Sherbini reviewed the current coordination on the compensations to be given to the resident in Ras el Hekma in preparation for handing over the lands of the first phase to the UAE side to start implementing the project.
The minister also reviewed plan for the alternative housing project to the residents of Ras el Hekma, asserting that the project will be implemented according to the aspirations of the residents of the area.
Sherbini also reviewed the plan for the urban gathering in western Dabaa which is one of the important projects implemented on the western North Coast.
Madbouli directed the housing minister to follow up the situation of compensations given to the residents of Ras el Hekma.
