Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli underlined the importance of the mammoth projects being implemented in the northern governorates, especially Alexandria, Beheira and Matrouh.
He said the projects will positively affect the march of development and the services offered to citizens.
He said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is closely following up the implementation of these projects which will realise a quantum leap.
The remarks came during a meeting under Mabdouli on the progress realised in a number of service and development projects in the governorates of Alexandria, Beheira and Matrouh.
The deputy chairman of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority – who attended the meeting – reviewed the progress realised in establishing new axis roads in Alexandria and Matrouh to streamline traffic, save time and ease burdens on people.
The premier noted that a number of housing projects are being implemented, adding that these projects will serve people living in slum areas as well as other social strata.
A large number of housing units will be available in the two governorates in the coming period in accordance with the directives of President Sisi.
