Cabinet spokesperson Mohamed El-Homsany said the meeting reviewed efforts by various agencies to build comprehensive databases covering eligible groups for initiatives and programs that provide social protection. He noted that these efforts aim to improve citizens’ living standards through development and service projects, raise the efficiency of public services, and advance social justice. The discussions also highlighted the need to enhance the efficiency of public spending on such initiatives and programs to maximize their impact of subsidy and social protection systems.
