CAIRO – Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Tuesday followed up on efforts of the Supreme Medical and Emergency Committee during Nov. praising its efficiency in responding quickly to critical cases.
The report indicated that the committee handled 1,192 emergency requests, issued 242 decisions for treatment at the state’s expense and provided advanced treatments such as Gamma Knife therapy and partial-match bone marrow transplants.
Efforts also included supplying medications, fitting prosthetic limbs for more than 86 cases and examining 3,102 citizens during the committee’s convoys in Matrouh Governorate, in cooperation with the Egyptian Shifa Bank Foundation.
All drives are meant to enhance rapid response and provide diverse healthcare services to citizens across all governorates.
