CAIRO – Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Wednesday received Chinese Premier Li Qiang at Cairo International Airport upon his arrival leading a high-level delegation for an official visit to Egypt.
An official reception ceremony was held upon his arrival, during which the Chinese premier and his accompanying delegation were received with full honors.
The national anthems of Egypt and the People’s Republic of China were played, followed by an inspection of the honor guards.Madbouli and Li are scheduled to co-chair an expanded session of talks, during which they will discuss a range of issues of mutual interest and examine ways to further enhance the strategic partnership between Egypt and China.
They will also witness the signing of several documents aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in various sectors.
