CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has stressed that the government backs German companies operating in Egypt.
The premier’s remarks came at a meeting with a host of representatives of German companies, who are accompanying German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on his visit to Cairo, in the presence of ministers, lawmakers and respective officials.
Madbouli welcomed the representatives of the German companies, which work in several vital sectors, including cars, water technology, tourism, travel, transport, railways, engineering, infrastructure, digitization and education, among others.
The government is keen to provide German companies desiring to invest in Egypt with all forms of incentives to have further investments here, Madbouli said.
The German representatives voiced their keenness to co-operate with Cairo and inject more investments in different sectors in Egypt.
