Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted that the projects of “Decent Life” tops the priorities of the government, noting that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has given directives on proceeding with such mega national project with the aim of improving the quality of life to all citizens.
These remarks were made by the premier during his tour of Alexandria governorate where he inspected a number of “Decent Life” projects which are being carried out in Abu Sir village, affiliated to Borg El Arab township.
Madbouli was accompanied by Alexandria Governor Mohamed El Sherif, the assistant chief of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority (AFEA), a number of top officials of AFEA as well as executive officials of the governorate.
During the tour, Madbouli was briefed the work progress in as many as 86 projects carried out by AFEA in four villages and 45 affiliate towns in Borg El Arab district of Alexandria. The projects are serving 135,000 residents.
The AFEA assistant chief said that 68 per cent of such projects have been finalised and work is going on to complete them, adding that the projects are covering the sectors of sanitary drainage, potable water, electricity, social solidarity, local development, health, youth and sports, agriculture and roads.
