Under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, proceedings of the National Strategy for Intellectual Property started on Wednesday, with the participation of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli.
The ceremony was attended by World Intellectual Property Organisation’s Director General Daren Tang, Supply and Internal Trade Minister Ali el-Moselhi, International Co-operation Minister Rania el-Mashat, Health and Population Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, and Communications and IT Minister Amr Talaat.
Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister El Sayed El Quseir, Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Ayman Ashour, Justice Minister Omar Marwan, Trade and industry Minister Ahmed Samir and Education and Technical Education Minister Reda Hegazy also attended the event.
The launch of the National Intellectual Property Strategy comes in implementation of the President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives in this regard.
The strategy also comes in line with the Egyptian government’s efforts in this regard, the SDGs, the World Intellectual Property Organisation’s (WIPO) development agenda, as well as the Egypt Vision 2030.
