CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli directed quick action to rehabilitate areas harmed by a spell of bad weather that had hit the Upper Egyptian city of Aswan earlier this month.
Villages harmed by heavy rains in Aswan should be included in the “Decent Life” presidential initiative, the premier said in a meeting Monday to follow up the issue.
He stressed the need to particularly address drinking water and sanitation projects there.
Villages harmed by the heavy rains should be given top priority as directed by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Madbouli said.
Renovation work should start immediately, he urged.
