Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has underlined the need to outline a marketing plan to sell residential units in a number of new cities.
In a meeting with senior officials, including Housing Minister Sherif el-Sherbini and deputy chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) Walid Abbas, on Sunday, Madbouli said the plan should guarantee optimal benefit from assets of the new cities.
Sherbini put the number of residential units up for grabs in the new cities at more than 35,000, noting that they had been designed to suit different segments of society.
NUCA chairman Abbas said five companies have been tasked with marketing the residential units of six projects established in the new cities.
The units are available in the New Administrative Capital, New Alamein, New Cairo and 6th of October City.
