Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli inaugurated on Thursday “Al Mansour vehicle and industrial filters” factory in 10th of Ramadan City.
Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Transport and Industry Kamel el Wazir, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan el Khatib, Sharqiya Governor Hazem al Ashamoni, Deputy Minister of Finance for Financial Policies Yasser Sobhi, Chairman of the Mansour Group for Automotive Mohamed Mansour and CEO of the Group Ankush Arora alongside several company executives and industrial leaders attended the inauguration.
Mansour explained that this industrial project aligns with Egypt’s national automotive localization program, which aims to enhance the competitiveness of Egyptian industries and support exports to both regional and international markets.
The factory represents a significant leap in local industrial development and reducing reliance on imports, he said.
He asserted that the Mansour Group is following a long-term strategy to develop Egypt’s automotive and vehicle sectors.
He noted that this factory serves as a real example of how the private sector works in tandem with the state to support the “Made in Egypt” initiative, transitioning from importing to local manufacturing and eventually exporting, thus contributing to national economic growth, attracting investments and creating job opportunities for Egyptian youth.
For his part, Arora pointed out that the factory’s inauguration coincides with the group’s celebration of its 50th anniversary in the Egyptian market.
The factory was designed with a focus on environmental sustainability, ensuring energy efficiency while adhering to the highest global quality standards, with a dedicated quality testing lab to ensure operational efficiency and competitive product quality, he said.
