CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli held a meeting Thursday to follow up on the latest developments in the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
The meeting, attended by Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Governor Tarek Amer and his two deputies Gamal Negm and Rami Abul-Naga, took up following up on the availability of fiscal financing needed to buy strategic commodities, especially petroleum products and basic goods.
During the meeting, Madbouli hailed the continued coordination between the government and the CBE, a matter which helped the country overcome previous challenges and crises.
