Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli started the Cabinet meeting on Thursday by hailing efforts exerted by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the relevant Egyptian bodies to reach the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
Egypt’s efforts in this respect were met by much praise from Arab, regional and international circles, he added during the meeting which was held at the government headquarters in New El Alamein city.
Madbouli, meanwhile, also lauded a meeting which was held between President Sisi and the students of the Military Academy, saying that such meetings came as part of the political leadership’s keenness on the importance of awareness and directing societal thought to protect the Egyptian national security.
The premier further stressed the importance of applying the plan to rationalise electricity consumption in order to save foreign currency and achieve financial returns from gas export.
He also urged citizens to rationalise electricity use at their homes to support the government’s energy consumption plan.
Shifting to the New Administrative Capital (NAC), the prime minister said that preparations are underway to fully relocate to the NAC.
