Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli inaugurated Sunday the “Turathna Exhibition for Handicrafts and Heritage” at Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in New Cairo.
The exhibition, which will run until October 15, is held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The prime minister, accompanied by Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el Said, Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad, and CEO of the Small, Medium and Micro Enterprise Development Agency Nevine Gamea, inspected the different pavilions of the exhibition.
Five Arab countries are participating in the exhibition, which mainly aims to market various products locally and internationally.
The exhibition also sees the participation of 1,100 owners of projects specialized in heritage products.
Also, there is a pavilion designated to showcase the products of project owners from the villages which are part of the “Decent Life” presidential initiative.
